Boruto is the son of Naruto Uzuamki, the current Hokage of the Hidden Leaf Village, and Hinata Hyuga. He is also the main titular character of his own anime series, Boruto: Naruto Next Generation. Just like his father when he was younger, Boruto has the same loud, energetic and stubborn personality. Coming from two powerful households, Boruto is a powerful shinobi that is recognized by many regardless of his Genin rank.

Boruto Uzumaki (うずまきボルト, Uzumaki Boruto) is a missing-nin from Konohagakure's Uzumaki clan and a direct descendant of the Hyūga clan through his mother.

Boruto is the first child of Naruto and Hinata Uzumaki, born four years after the Fourth Shinobi World War. He received a younger sister, Himawari, two years later. As his parents continued to stay close to their childhood friends over the years, Boruto ultimately came to know the various parents' respective kids well.

While initially resentful of his father and his absence since becoming Hokage, Boruto eventually comes to respect his father and duties. Regardless, he vows to instead become a shinobi like his mentor, Sasuke Uchiha. He was later forced to defect from the village after his adoptive brother Kawaki frames him for killing his parents by altering everyone's memories of him.
