Byakuya Kuchiki is a recurring character in the anime series, Bleach. He is the 28th head of the Kuchiki Clan, one of the four great noble clans in the Soul Society. He is also the 6th division captain in the Gotei 13 and is known for his silent, cold demeanor.

Byakuya’s Zanpakuto is called Senbonzakura, when triggered by his command, the sword breaks into thousands of tiny blade fragments that resemble Sakura petals.

Bleach (ブリーチ) is a manga series authored by Tite Kubo that appeared in the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from August 2001 until August 2016. Bleach follows the adventures of Ichigo Kurosaki, a high school student with the ability to see ghosts. The early parts of the story focus mainly on the Human characters, but as events unfold, the story begins to delve deeper into the world of the Shinigami and their war with the Arrancar, followed by their war with the Quincy.
