Kenma Kozume is a recurring character in the popular volleyball anime, Haikyu!! Kenma is a second year student from Nekoma High and is the main setter of their Boys Volleyball Team. Kenma is known amongst his team as the “brain” of the Nekoma Volleyball team for being extremely observant and able to create strategies and plans against the opposing team.

Haikyuu!! is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Haruichi Furudate. The story follows Shoyo Hinata, a boy determined to become a great volleyball player despite his small stature. Shōyō Hinata, after seeing a volleyball match, aims to become the next "Little Giant" and thus joins his middle school volleyball club. After finding new members, he sets out for the middle school tournament, where he crosses paths with a formidable school with the "King of the Upper Court," Tobio Kageyama. Although his team lost, Hinata is still determined to aim for the top and exact revenge on Kageyama. Upon entering high school, he receives the biggest surprise: He and Kageyama are in the same high school volleyball club!

Kenma Kozume was previously a second-year student from Nekoma High. He was the Volleyball Team's setter and was referred to as the "heart" and "brain" of the team by his teammates. Kenma is depicted with an average height, a small build, and has an unsteady posture. He has many outstanding features, including his cat-like golden eyes and blond hair with black roots (sometimes referred to as "Pudding-Head").
