Retsu Unohana is a recurring character from the anime series, Bleach. She is one of the most experienced captains of the Gotei 13, being the captain of the Fourth Division. She is considered Soul Society’s best healer.

The early parts of the story focus mainly on the Human characters, but as events unfold, the story begins to delve deeper into the world of the Shinigami and their war with the Arrancar, followed by their war with the Quincy.
