Toshiro Hitsugaya is a recurring character in the anime series, Bleach. Toshiro is the captain of the 10th Division in the Gotei 13. He is relatively young by Shinigami standards with the physical features of a child, Toshiro is a very capable Shinigami.

Bleach (ブリーチ) is a manga series authored by Tite Kubo that appeared in the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from August 2001 until August 2016. Bleach follows the adventures of Ichigo Kurosaki, a high school student with the ability to see ghosts. The early parts of the story focus mainly on the Human characters, but as events unfold, the story begins to delve deeper into the world of the Shinigami and their war with the Arrancar, followed by their war with the Quincy.
